Listening
[Section I] Comprehend phonemic change and spelling in Korean
This section evaluates how correctly Korean residents overseas and foreigners understand phonemes in Korea and how they understand key expressions in sentences or dialogs.

*Listen to vowel and consonant and choose correct one.
  -Choose a correctly pronounced vowel and consonant in Korean.
*Listen to a sentence and choose the best spelling
  -Understand the change of sound under the change of phonemes such as prolonged sound, aspirated sound, fortis,    and ending sound of a syllable and find a correct sentence.
[Section II] Completing a short talk
This section evaluates examinees’ conversation ability by making them listen to a question and give an answer to the question. This section can evaluate examinees’ actual solving capability as well as raise adaptability in conversational situation in Korean.

*Choose the right answer to complete a dialog after hearing
  -Choose the right answer to each question or choose the best sentence/phrase connected with a short talk.
[Section III ]Listen to a short talk or dialog and give the best answer
This section evaluates listening ability on detailed information or overall context of a variety of stories (advertisement, newspaper, article, monolog, lecture, explanation etc.) or short talk.

*Listen to a short talk and give an answer to each question
  -Choose the right answer to each question related to topics and detailed information of statements and the    correspondence between sample and statement
[Section IV ]Listen to a long dialog and choose the right answer to each question
To confirm comprehensive ability in an overall context, this section evaluates the comprehensive conversation ability of examinees. This section can help examinees to enhance understanding and adaptability of actual conversation situation in Korean by making them listen to vivid and live conversation and solve problems. It also can evaluate comprehensive reasonable ability to make examinees grasp not only simple information but also overall description after listening to long statements.

*Listen to a long dialog and choose the right answer to each question
  -Choose the right answer to each question as to detailed information or general context of a long dialog.
*Listen to a long statement and choose the right answer to each question
  -Choose the right answer to each question by connecting detailed information as well as gist, opinion, reason or    direction of each statement with the context.
Vocabulary
[Section I ] Understand right vocabulary usage
This section evaluates whether examinees understand the meaning of vocabulary and have a good command of appropriate vocabulary as integrated unit which is actually used in a conversation course such as sentences or dialogs.

*Choose the best vocabulary in the blank
  -Choose the best vocabulary in the blank of a sentence or conversation.
[Section II] Choose wrong usage of vocabulary
This section evaluates how examinees look for wrong usage of vocabulary or incompatible vocabulary in the context of a sentence.

*Choose the wrong usage of a vocabulary
  -Choose words with wrong meaning or vocabularies unmatched to the context.
Grammar
This section assesses basic grammatical elements such as postpositions and endings as well as a variety of Korean expressions such as irregular verbs, tenses, passive and causative verbs, indirect narration, honorific expressions, and compound structure of Korean language and general grammar system.

[Section I] Understand grammatical elements

*Choose the appropriate grammatical elements which can be filled in the blank of a sentence.
  -Choose the right postposition, ending and other grammatical elements required in a sentence.
[Section II ] Connect sentences
This section judges whether examinees understand the order or mechanism of sentences in Korean by evaluating appropriate use of conjunctive ending, appropriateness of meaning when two sentences are connected.

*Connect two sentences
  -Connect two sentences or fill conjunction before or after a sentence
Reading
[Section I ] Understand description of short story or table
This section evaluates whether examinees understand detailed information out of the data made from short stories or tables.

*Understand description of table
  -Give an answer to each question after seeing a table.
*Understand description of short story
[Section II] Understand the content and context of a story
This section evaluates exact understanding of the contents of a variety of statements such as advertisement, guide, manual of machine, article, explanation, novel and essay.

*Understand detailed content of statement
  -Give an answer to each question: Give an answer to each question, title/subject/situation of statement
*Understand overall context of story
  -Understand the development of a story: Choose the most suitable action or paragraph following the given story,    arrange the order of contents, etc.
  -Grasp the gist of a story: Find main point, choose opinion/viewpoint of a certain person and choose the right    question to reasonable information in a story.
Discourse
[Section I] Understand meaning of idiomatic expressionh
This section evaluates the understanding of meaning of idiomatic expressions which are composite words with different meaning from individual words.
[Section II]
*Complete a dialog
-Choose the right answer to each question or previous sentences.
- Find the previous content connected with the following content.
