
Cancellation/Refund
| ※ Examinees who want to cancel the test application may request to get the fee to be refunded in cash.
We will refund, in cash, the fees from which penalty for the failure of application is deducted according to the elapse of period graded from the ‘closing date of registration until one weeks from the test date' as follows.

| ① Cancellation Period and Refund A. In case of cancellation within the registration period, the registration fee shall be refunded. B. In case of cancellation after the registration period, the refund shall be made only for one week from the closing date of registration, and the amount equivalent to 50 percent of the registration fee shall be refunded from which penalty for the failure of application is deducted. ②How to cancel A. Visiting : You must visit the registration office of each area to cancel the registration. [Registration offices in some areas may not receive cancellation application on Saturday. ] B. Proxy : If your proxy wants to cancel the registration, the proxy must carry your test certificate and ID card so that an office receptionist can prove your identity. ③ Refund Period and Method A. We will remit "the amount equivalent to refund on the basis of the graded application period" to your personal account within two weeks from the closing date of receipt. B. Remittance charge: You shall be liable for remittance charge, if any, in principle. |

Any applicants who conform to the following reasons set forth by the KLPT Committee may apply for the refund of the total registration fee.
<Refund Range and Required Documents> ① If no test is possible to be taken due to a state of emergency; ② If no test is possible to be regularly taken due to natural disaster (e.g.: earthquake, fire, heavy raining, high snowfall, etc.); ③ If no test is possible to taken due to the negligence of test supervisor(s) (except examinees who are absent from such test); 4) If an examinee is hospitalized and has an operation due to accident or disease and then submits the medical certificate or hospitalization certificate; or ⑤ If an examinee's linear family member dies; (Linear family members include only grandparents, parents, brother, sister, spouse, or child of his/her own or spouse's family.) - Such applicant shall submit a death certificate and an official document which shows the family relations with himself/herself.
※ In case of Article 4) or 5), the provisions shall be valid only to an applicant who submits refund within a week after testing, and the date of any submitted documents shall be before a test date.
※ The refund will be remitted to the applicant’s personal account within two weeks from the receipt of the application, and a remittance charge, if any, shall be paid by the applicant.
※How to submit Document(s): Any applicant may directly visit, or send by register mail, the application attaching documentary evidence(s) to (a designated registration office by each country).
